"New Zealand is definitely in my bucket list, and I finally had the opportunity to do a pre-wedding photoshoot for Andre and Candice there.

I've known Andre for 7 years, when I first started my career as a photographer. I still remember last year I ran into him by accident at a mall, waiting for someone at a store, and I jokingly congratulated him. He ended up telling me that he was planning to get married in 2017, with New Zealand as his location of choice. It's a perfect choice.

Andre himself is a very nice guy. We’ve known each other for quite a long time, and he is very easy-going, cheerful, and patient, and Candice is an incredible woman.

Everything went smoothly, even though it was a bit misty on the first day, but it didn't stop us to shoot photos from early morning.

Candice had always dreamed of climbing to the peak of the mountain from Lake Tekapo by helicopter. The weather was not the best at that day, but Andre kept trying to get us there, and we managed to get there from Queenstown.

It was my second time boarding a helicopter overseas, with my first time being in Brazil. Thankfully, this time was not frightening at all; I barely felt a thing.

Special thanks to Indra for being involved in this trip. Indra is one of Nomina’s main photographer, and he is very talented and loves road trip very much. During our days in New Zealand, Indra is the one that drove us around.

Also, thanks to Dewi from @dlouverassociates, an Australian-based makeup artist, who had done an outstanding job on the makeup and had been so helpful.
